|
Experts opine that the next two decades of global management education will be different from the past two decades, for several reasons: - Thus far, the primary focus of management education has been the 'for-profit' economy & businesses. - Mega Forces like Globalization & Technology are reshaping the world of business, and management practices. - Digital tools like MOOCS have emerged as a big alternative source of learning, esp for managers in countries with lesser access to high quality learning. - As the center of gravity of business moves to Asia, are the 'westerns business models and practices' the most appropriate ones? Should Asia adapt, or evolve? To discuss these mega-trends on the Future of Management Education, its impact and emerging opportunities for Asian B-schools, a special session is being organized by MBAUniverse.com, the media partner of the 5th International Business School Shanghai Conference. |
